After the dust settles at Touka Village and the bandits are gone, Kan'u, Chouhi and Koumei figure the road ahead is finally quiet. Then a stranger stumbles into their path: a young woman insisting she is the real Gentoku Ryuubi, heir to a name that was stolen right out from under her. Framed for crimes she never committed, she has nothing left but a mission to grab back her family sword and prove she is who she says she is. Easier said than done. That sword keeps slipping through their fingers, passed from owner to owner, always one step ahead no matter how fast the four of them chase it. Friends from earlier battles show up along the way and pitch in where they can, while Kan'u and Chouhi start to notice that family does not always mean shared blood. Meanwhile a troupe of street performers, the three Chou sisters, stumble onto a strange book of magic that is bound to cause far more trouble than any of them expects. So who really took Ryuubi's name, and what happens when that book finally falls into the wrong hands?
