Shadowverse
A voice drifts out of the storage shed. Hiiro pokes around inside and comes up with a smartphone, Shadowverse already loaded on it. His grandfather finally caved, he figures, after all that nagging. Nothing weird here. Just a phone. Then word gets around about Mimori, a girl in his class. Takuma beat her at cards and walked off with her phone, the way he does with everyone he crushes. Hiiro wants it back. That one decision drops him into a whole other side of the game, where the matches hit harder and the players hit harder still, and Lucia Yonazuki is waiting somewhere in that crowd. He only meant to grab a phone back for a classmate. So why does every win feel like it's dragging him deeper into something he never signed up for?
