Shampoo and Ukyo have a plan, and it is a petty one. They drag everyone to a cave with a reputation for splitting couples apart, figuring the place will do the dirty work for them. Shampoo has a second reason to be there: if the cave works its magic on Ranma and Akane, maybe it can do the same for her and Mousse. What neither of them counted on is what is actually waiting inside. Then there is the box. Somebody opens it, and a demon with a tiger striped loincloth comes strolling out into the neighborhood, hopping from body to body and causing chaos. Ranma and the others have to deal with a foe that doesn't stay put in one person. And that is before the doll shows up: a cursed little thing that punishes anyone who disrespects it. Ranma disrespected it. Now it has possessed Akane, and it keeps lunging at him, over and over, using her hands. Two girls scheming in a cave, a demon on the loose, a doll with a grudge. Can Ranma fix any of this without wrecking what is left of his love life?
