School is back in session, year three, and nothing at home has calmed down. San's father still lurks around every corner, and Luna's dad is no better. Meanwhile Nagasumi is stuck playing referee and rescuing girls who keep landing in trouble right in front of him. Two new faces show up this time too, which never means anything good for his blood pressure. Then the yakuza dads crank the overprotectiveness up a notch, and suddenly the whole school day turns into a minefield. Every ordinary errand spirals into some absurd rescue mission, and the mermaid secret hangs over everything like a storm cloud. Nagasumi just wants a quiet life. What he gets instead is his future father in law breathing down his neck every single day. So can a regular guy really keep a lid on a mob family, a school full of nosy classmates, and the girls who keep needing saving, all before graduation sneaks up on him?
