Koua Academy takes only the brightest. Japan's future leaders walk its halls, handpicked and polished. Lately though, students keep dying. The school calls them suicides and says almost nothing to anyone outside its walls. Then Aya Fujimiya walks in, chalk dust on his sleeves, playing the new teacher. He is there to dig, not to teach. What he finds is worse than a few quiet funerals: a thread running from this pristine campus straight to terrorist attacks exploding around the world. Persia doesn't leave him alone in it for long. Ken Hidaka and Youji Kudou are sent in too, three men under one roof, each watching a different door. The deeper they push, the less the academy looks like a school and the more it looks like something built to hide. So what exactly is Koua turning its gifted students into, and who is waiting at the top of the stairs?
