Four years have passed since Haruo, Akira, and Koharu first met, and the three of them are still inseparable. Arcade cabinets hum, school bells ring, and for a while everything feels like it always did. Then the ground shifts. Akira's teacher, Gouda Moemi, cracks down harder than ever before, watching Akira's every move with an intensity that leaves no room to breathe. And Koharu? Somewhere along the way, without announcing it to anyone, she stopped seeing Haruo as just a friend. Haruo, meanwhile, is the same messy kid he has always been, clumsy with people and hopeless at reading a room. But there is one thing he understands completely: games. That love has been there since day one, steady and stubborn, and now it sits right in the middle of everything else falling apart. Akira is being pushed one way, Koharu is quietly pulling another, and Haruo has no idea he is standing at the center of it all. Can a guy who only knows how to mash buttons figure out what the people around him actually need before everything between them breaks?
