Blade and Bones
Ning Yi is a nobody from Xiling with one weird problem: his body devours everything, and it never feels full. Staying alive means leaning on Pei Fan, a man hauling around a blood debt he can't put down. Then a bone flute turns up, rare enough that people would kill for it, and through it Ning Yi crosses paths with Xu Qingyan, a girl wrapped in more mystery than answers. That's when the real trouble starts. Xu Zang, a sword immortal from Shu Mountain, takes Ning Yi under his wing and drills him in the highest swordsmanship there is. The flute does the rest, pushing him toward the rank of swordsman. Sounds like a dream come true, right? Except the title comes with the whole world riding on his shoulders, and saving it might cost him everything he clawed his way out of nothing for. Pei Fan's vendetta hasn't gone anywhere either, and Xu Qingyan clearly knows more than she's saying. A gluttonous kid, a haunted swordsman, a secretive girl, and a piece of bone that everyone wants. Can Ning Yi really carry all of that and still hold on to who he was?
