Nuclear war left the planet in ruins, and what grew from the ashes is a world empire that controls everything. Owning a weapon is forbidden. So the resistance hides old guns in plain sight, kept as art pieces, and waits for the moment to use them. Then the guns start talking back. The souls inside the antique firearms take shape as the Kijuushi, proud figures who become the one thing the empire cannot ignore. The only ones who can actually turn this fight around are the Absolute Royals. Between battles, though, life with the Kijuushi is messy and loud. They laugh, they fall apart, they get confused, they hurt, and through all of it they hold on to their loyalty without flinching. A quiet day can flip into chaos before anyone finishes a sentence. They are fighting, sure. But fighting for what, exactly, and who are they really protecting when the smoke clears?
