Takashi Mitsuhashi is done being the invisible kid. New house, new school, and a plan he's been nursing for years: walk through the gates as a full-blown delinquent and let the rumors do the rest. Trouble is, Shinji Itou had the exact same idea. Two brand new hoodlums, one classroom, and neither one is willing to play second banana. They square off almost immediately, and it's not just ego. Itou fights fair, follows some private code of honor, gets angry when people get pushed around. Mitsuhashi doesn't care about any of that. A win is a win, and a cheap shot works just as well as an honest punch. Somehow that mismatch turns into the closest friendship either of them has ever had, and the two of them start racking up brawls, rivals, and a reputation that keeps growing. The goal is simple enough: be the toughest pair in all of Japan. But with Mitsuhashi's tricks rubbing Itou the wrong way and every new school hiding someone who wants a piece of them, how long can two guys who fight completely differently keep standing back to back?
