Gintama: The Movie

Gintama Movie 1: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen · 劇場版 銀魂 新訳紅桜篇
ActionComedySci-Fi2010SunriseRating 8,517+HD

In the alien-packed streets of Edo, Gintoki and his two underpaid helpers scrape together whatever odd jobs they can find. Shinpachi and Kagura do the heavy lifting while Gin mostly looks for sweets. Then Katsura vanishes. Someone cut him down in the street, and nobody knows who or why. So the kids start poking around on their own while Gintoki takes a job from a blacksmith named Tetsuya, who wants a stolen blade back. The Benizakura. Just a sword, right? Except the two cases slam into each other. That sword is not a weapon you hand back politely. It is the whole rotten center of a conspiracy, and everyone circling it wants blood. Allies show up from the strangest corners, and Gintoki decides the only way forward is straight through the enemy's front door. His most dangerous job in a long while, and he still has rent to worry about. Can a broke samurai with a wooden sword really cut his way to the bottom of this?
