A relaxing weekend at Inspector Shiratori's villa turns into a crime scene. Conan and the others are there for a small party, and the star of the evening is supposed to be a bottle from Shiratori's prized wine collection, the kind worth more than most cars. A whole house full of detectives, good food, fancy drinks. What could possibly go wrong? Then the bottle turns up smashed on the floor. Sixteen people are in the villa. One of them did it. The victim here is a puddle of expensive red wine, and every guest is a trained investigator, which somehow makes everything worse instead of easier. Everyone starts poking around, trading theories, eyeing each other over their glasses. Conan has to sort out which of these sharp minds is lying, and the answer is hiding in plain sight. But with this many detectives crowded into one house, can any of them really trust the person standing next to them?
