D_Cide Traumerei the Animation
Ryuuhei Oda was just a kid when his older brother was killed right in front of him. The killer vanished. All that was left behind was a strange symbol near the body, and years of questions Ryuuhei could never answer. Now he is a second-year high school student who pours all that restless energy into kickboxing, and for a while that is enough. Then one night, walking home, something bites his leg. That same night he dreams of bizarre creatures and people with impossible powers fighting them. The next day the dream is waiting for him on the street. Jessica Clayborn and Aruto Fushibe show up out of nowhere to pull him out of the fight, and they act like he is already one of them. Their pitch: he can become a knocker-up, someone who can stand against the monsters that come crawling out of the dreamscape. His fists, it turns out, are exactly the weapon this war needs. He awakens his power and survives his first real battle. Then he sees it. The mark. The same one from the night his brother died, sitting right there in the aftermath. So the monsters and the murder are connected. Jessica and Aruto clearly know more than they are saying, and Ryuuhei is done waiting for answers to come to him. Can he find out who left that mark before the dreamscape swallows the city whole?
