Team TRY3 just took the Generation Quest championship. Chrono, Shion, Tokoha, they earned that win. But while the lights were still on them, Ryuzu Myojin kept working in the shadows, and his plan is bigger than any tournament. He wants to open Stride Gate and pull the good things from Cray, the planet of monsters, over to Earth. Peace, quiet, all of it. To do that he needs a massive amount of Stride power, drained from players all over the world, and specific cards activated to build the gate itself. Chrono and Kouji move to stop him. Then a group calling themselves Company steps in, cardfighters who share Ryuzu's ideals, and suddenly it is not just one man to deal with. Koji, Taiyo, and a lot of friends refuse to leave TRY3 hanging. Two planets are on the line: Earth and Cray both. Can three kids who just wanted to win a tournament really hold back a man who thinks he is saving everyone?
