Beyond the Ocean

Si Hai Jing Qi · 四海鲸骑
ActionAdventureFantasy2018ChosenRating 6,213+HD

The emperor sails south with a whole fleet, chasing a legend about a Buddha Island and a way to live forever. Then he drops dead. Crown Prince Jianwen is standing right there when it happens, and the man he sees do it is Admiral Zheng, the mentor he trusted like a father. By morning the court is calling the prince a patricide and a usurper. Regent Yan gives the order, and Zheng sails to Quanzhou to drag the boy back. Jianwen slips away first. Now he is running across open water with a Japanese ninja girl, a descendant of the Mongol navy, and a Western naturalist at his side, while every faction at court sharpens its knives and something unseen pulls strings no one can see. Zheng is still hunting him, still half trying to shield him, and the gap between them keeps widening. Somebody put a spell on the dead emperor. Who gave that order, and who is really steering the throne?
