Xie Kanhua is moments from execution when Su Baiyi storms the Shanglin Celestial Palace to pull him out. Then the whole palace comes apart. In the chaos Su Baiyi gets carried off by Su Jian, the Demon Lord who locked himself away for twenty years and nobody expected to see walking free again. The Hero Conference in Xuanwei Town kicks off once more, and Bai Jile drags Divine Official Xue into it, the second strongest fighter alive, which is all it takes to set the martial world on fire. Su Baiyi heads to North Kunlun with Su Jian to find Su Suomo, the old Su family ancestor, hoping to save the wounded Nangong Xi'er. Yuling and Feng Zuojun split off too, one to Qingcheng Mountain, one to the Demon Town, each chasing their own training. And just beneath all that quiet tension, Yingzhou Immortal Island rises out of nowhere with a message for every martial artist alive: kneel and live, or stand and die. So who exactly is Su Jian, and why does he only show himself now that the island is back?
