Kanon Shibuya says goodbye to Liella! and boards a plane to study abroad. Her friends stay behind in Japan, both sides promising to keep the idol dream alive from opposite ends of the world. Then Wien Margarete's parents call. They want Kanon to stay one more year so their daughter can learn from her. Just like that, the farewell never happens. Now Kanon is stuck in limbo, and Wien refuses to join the group she once fought so hard against. She wants her own unit instead. Kanon, unwilling to let that fire burn out, signs on with her and brings in Tomari Onitsuka, the younger sister of a former teammate. Together they try to scrub away Wien's messy reputation. Meanwhile the old Liella! is falling apart without the center they can't replace. Can a brand new group really shine while the one everyone loved is still bleeding?
