Chu Yue was the best field agent the Z organization had, right up until someone set him up and he died for it. Then a strange artifact, the Nine Desolation Mirror, grabbed his soul and dumped him into the Nine Desolation World. No welcome speech. Just a system barking mandatory tasks at him, and a simple rule: complete them, get stronger, stay alive. So he trains, fights, survives. Somewhere along the way, the body he is walking around in starts talking back. Its original owner left things buried in it, memories that do not add up, secrets that keep getting uglier the deeper he digs. And the worst one is this: the mirror never picked only him. Other hosts are out there in this world, walking the same path. One of them could be standing right next to him. So who is really pulling the strings here, and what happens when two hosts finally meet?
