There's a green backyard, and in it a cozy little house. That's where Witzy lives. He's a duckling, small enough to fit in your palm, and he shares the place with a bunch of stuffed animal friends. Every day something happens. Not huge things, just the kind of small adventures that fill up a morning when you're tiny and the grass is tall. Then TBS picked it up. A whole TV series of shorts, based on greeting cards drawn by an artist in San Diego. Cards. The kind you buy for someone's birthday and sign at the bottom. Somehow those drawings turned into a show about a duck and his plush buddies, and it landed on Japanese television in 2011. The thing is, the house is small, the yard is only so big, and the friends never leave. So what exactly are they getting up to out there, day after day, in that one patch of grass?
